Apologies for the radio silence at the Yellow Cape B&B, but we’ve had a busy week and a half that involved a serious case of the man flu for my husband, surgery for my dad, and a trip home to PA to check up on the fam squad.
Mostly due to the man flu, we haven’t made a ton of progress on projects, because Jordan was feeling pretty under the weather, but I was able to throw together this cute coffee station around a cart that my brother gave us for Christmas. I love having a home (besides the counter) for Jordan’s most prized possession – his Ninja coffee bar – and my ever growing tea stash.
The island was a Wayfair purchase – I think someone got a kick out of it being called the “Jordan.” If you know me well, you know that I have a mug addiction, and that I always add a new mug to the collection when I travel, so we have quite a few. This cart is able to hold most of my collection, so that’s really saying something! The wheels are great too, because I can scoot this thing over if needed.
Please don’t mind that adorable hole in the wall where we pulled out a socket that didn’t have power. We’re going to cover that up as I work on turning this wall of our kitchen into a gallery wall.
I also added this awesome rack that I found on Amazon, though when I picked it up a few weeks back, it was only about $30 – score! I loved adding just a few of my Rae Dunn mugs to the hooks (did I mention the mug obsession?!), and I was able to throw my aprons on there too. Win! The T&J are a long ago Target purchase (shocking!), but I’m really looking forward to adding a few cute and fun pictures and decor items to this wall to make the kitchen feel like mine.
